About Me
My name is Alex Duque and I’m an 18 year old writer, director, producer, and animator from South Florida. Film and storytelling has always been an important in my life; I began telling stories when I was 5 with my Legos and now 14 years I’m telling stories through the medium of film. I like mixing genres and dramatic lighting cues, but I feel what makes my art different is the heart it has underneath all the flashy techniques. I make sure to have intimate understanding of the layers of my stories before I embed myself too deep into the production process. This passion of mine has been recognized on an international scale, having been nominated for awards at some of the largest student film festivals in the world including the All American High School Film Festival and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth. At the current time I don’t see myself slowing down any time soon, so keep an eye on this site for any updates or announcements!
